About us

Collars for Aloy was founded in 2019 to help raise money to support our golden retriever, Aloy. On her first birthday, she was diagnosed with juvenile cataracts and glaucoma.

In 2023, at 5 years old, Aloy also developed epilepsy and begin having reoccurring cluster seizers. In 2023, she underwent a CT scan to further investigate the cause of her seizures, and she was diagnosed with an unknown metabolic storage disorder.

The money raised by Collars for Aloy helps support her ongoing veterinary bills, daily medication & insurance costs, and future needs.

Despite her current ailments, Aloy is a lively, happy, beautiful golden girl. She is the biggest blessing that we could have ever asked for.
